Optimizing The Design of Dry Floors
Hlavsa, Petr ; Chybík,, Josef (referee) ; Klečka,, Tomáš (referee) ; Tuza, Karel (advisor)
This dissertation deals with the optimization of the dry floor design by solving the innovative floor composition supported by the development of a new floor element, doing so from the point of view of building physics – especially the heat and mass transfer in buildings – with the consideration for the benefits for acoustics. It is aimed at dry floors application to modern timber structure. In the area of heat and mass transfer in buildings, the impact of thermal stability of rooms and its increase in the use of a new floor structure is investigated with the inclusion of a proposed element improving the thermal storage capacity of the floor. All this in the context of ensuring the possible floor heating integration. In the evaluation of thermal stability in rooms, those operating conditions that are accompanied by interrupted heating, are considered to be key. After describing the current state of solving this issue, the main focus of this dissertation is its own development and design of a specific floor element and its integration into the floor composition. An important part of the dissertation consists of related numerical simulations, its own experiment, relevant measurements in the experimental object, and their evaluation.
Power accumulation from renewable energy sources
Kratschmer, Bruno ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
In this thesis I deal with problem of power acumulation from renewable energy sources. First part present the available technologies used for power accumulation. In the second part is designed the systém of acumulation in compressed air with a transformation electric output 1 MW, when is used made elektricity from wind-power plant. In the third part is an assessment in terms of both technical and economic comparison with the use of electicity from the network.
Effective Heating Systems for Family Houses
Čulík, Martin ; Poláčik, Ján (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a summary of basic information and possibilities of heating family houses. Designing the right type of heating system is really important factor for a good operation of heating and also for the right comfort inside of the house. There will be description and calculations of the specific house in the second part of the thesis.
High temperature energy reservoir with year-round operation in conjunction with a solar system
Hoc, Pavel ; Šikula, Ondřej (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
In this thesis I deal with the issue of stand-alone solar system development. This system ensures the supply of all the energy needed for a reference house. It consists of a solar concentrator and a heat reservoir. I used mathematical models to solve this issue. The calculations showed, that the concentration of solar radiation into the heat reservoir can usually achieve 69 % efficiency. The efficiency can be even higher when using a very reflective materials of the solar concentrator. In this thesis, the thermal reservoir is described and its improvements are suggested based on the optimization calculations. Thanks to knowledge gained during solving this issue, a prototype of the stand-alone solar system is going to be built. All findings will be experimentally verified with this prototype.
Ventilation and heating of an industrial building
Švábenský, Jiří ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Krejčí, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is suggest solution of ventilation and heating of industrial building. The solution is primarily based on calculation of thermal losses and thermal gains of the building. The project deals with supply of air for individual parts of construction in summer and winter. The solution consist of proposal of ducting and calculation of air handling units and unit heaters. The system of ventilation and heating is process in drawing documentation.
Solar Heating
Kárl, Jiří ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
This work presents you a basic parts of solar systems and shows on example of real family house, how to count calculate return on investment in to solar system on family house.
Latent heat thermal storage in solar air systems
Súkup, Tomáš ; Janírek, Martin Stanislav (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
In this paper an overview is prepared for the possibility of heat accumulation in the use of heating and hot water. In the next section is designed heat accumulator uses PCM materials for solar air system. Its properties are experimentally verified.
